Safety pins hold the gather in place. Front, back, or both. Lock it.

Roll, stack, cutoff-stack, or floor length. The look dictates the break, not a rule.

Thread the cord
Utility Cord v4 runs through the belt loops or cinches around the waist. Pull snug — that's the silhouette.
